Mary Ruth Edwards Is The Constitution Party Choice in Washington’s 4th Congressional District!

Mary Ruth Edwards, of Prosser, announces her candidacy for US Representative in the 4th Congressional District, which covers the counties of Benton, Chelan, Douglas, Franklin, Grant, Klickitat, Kittitas, Yakima, as well as parts of Skamania and Adams counties. She has been endorsed as a candidate of the Constitution Party of Washington. Mary Ruth completed her bachelors’ degree in Business from Central Washington University in 1992. In 2003, after leaving her job at the phone company, she returned to school and received her teaching certification from Western Washington University in 2005. She and her children moved to Prosser, where she currently teaches 4th grade. She received her Masters in Education degree in 2009 from Whitworth University.

She founded a 912 Project group early last year in an effort to bring together like-minded people to discuss current events and find ways to be heard by those in government. It was during those discussions that she heard many people say, “We need to start our own party and name it the Constitution Party.” She went home from one meeting and Googled “constitution party.” To her surprise, she discovered there already is a Constitution Party. While reading their platform, she kept thinking, “Wow! These guys think exactly like I do!”

She soon became a card-carrying Constitution Party member and currently acts as the Benton County Coordinator. Welcome Aboard, Mary Ruth Edwards!!
